CraigsList Cracking Down on Spammers

Over night, Craigslist has made the “For Sale” sections require an account to post in.  This wouldn’t seem that bad, but in addition to having an account, you must get the account phone verified.  This means you need to give Craigslist a phone number, and they call you with a number that you input into your account screen.  This isn’t bad either you say, you can always use a call forwarding service.  No, Craigslist has blocked most (if not all) call forwarding services.

Now if you want to Spam Craigslist, you need to buy phone verified accounts for about $4 a piece.  Considering you could make more than $4 per account, you can still make money, but this is cutting into your bottom line, and making the whole Craigslist method a huge hassle. It is a very good way to cut down on spammers, and I am sure there will be a TON less spam on Craigslist now.

I was personally using Craigslist to advertise my sites and making close to $75 a day.  This method for me is all but gone, so there goes a huge chunk of my money.  This goes back to my post about putting all your eggs in one basket.  I have some other money making methods that are still bringing in money, but I now need to work on more.

So let’s get to it.  Time to promote some of my sites.
