Start Your Online Business With a Free .biz Domain
If you have ever been the type of person to not start your online business because you didn’t want to spend any money … well, today is the day to start. 1and1 has their .biz domains FREE for the first year. You need to put in either your credit card information or paypal information because you will be charged after one year, but you can always turn that off. The bottom line is you get a FREE (you pay nothing) domain (.biz) for one year.
1and1 is nice because they have low priced domain ($5.99 .coms compared to GoDaddy’s $6.95). They also offer free Private Registration, which other companies charge up to $10 for. The disadvantages of 1and1 is that they have HORRIBLE customer service. You really shouldn’t need to call or contact their customer service, but if you ever need help, do a Google search before emailing or calling.
I have already ordered one for myself and one for my dad’s business. I will probably just redirect both of them, but if I ever decide I want to use them, I have them.

If you were offered a free stroll into the La Brea Tar Pitts would you take it? In my opinion it is similar. I curse the day I listed 730 domains with 1and1. Instead of taking the free domains, just send them a check for $10,000. and save all the time and trouble it will take you to extricate yourself.
I do owe them one thing, now I know what hell must be like.
It should be a warning that when their phone is answered by a recording that tells you if you have gotten a notice from NCO, a collection agency, to press a certain number. If they are a reputable business, why do they have to send so many accounts to a collection agency?

I found your site from Google, and saw this post. Being a domain reseller full-time, I can’t pass up free domains. Plus, it looks like you can get as many as you want
