Quitting The Day Job

The Countdown Has Begun

If you notice the new addition to the blog, there is a countdown in the top right hand corner (no longer up after the first design change, but it will be coming back).  Cube Warrior and I started this blog on August 1, 2008.  We will be going full tilt on this blog for 3 months, and if we don’t deem it a success, we will stop and cut our loses.  I don’t see that happening, but we need a time line and some goals.

3 months - November 1, 2008 - that will be our first checkpoint so to speak.  We will access everything at that point:  Workload, Profit, and whether we still want to do it.  You never know what will happen in 3 months, so I think it is a good amount of time before we stop and assess our blog.

Hopefully by then, one of us will really have quit our day job.
